New Community Identity Signs installed
- Published: March 30, 2023
Be on the look out!
It has been a long time coming, the new Community Identity Signs has just been installed along the highway.
Close to every 30 years, communities are mandated to change their Community Identity Signs. We were notified two years ago that we had to have this done before March 31, 2023.
A special thank you to Diana MacKay and Dave Spencer (the designers of the Community Identity Sign), they both donated their time and talent to this project!
We don't have a picture of the sign yet from the highway, below is the image of the design.
Fun Fact!
We were told, by the designers of the sign, how the colour scheme came together. One of the blue stripes is the colour used in the Town official promotional materials, the other blue is the same as the blue from the Nova Scotia flag, and the orange is the colour used in the Sunrise Trail signage.
Its really nice to see projects come together!
