The Town of Oxford is hiring a part time By-Law Enforcement Officer

The By-Law Enforcement Officer is responsible for enforcing municipal by-laws as well as providing public education and awareness programs and services in order to ensure the protection of residents, property and employees. Through the course of their duties, the By-Law Enforcement Officer will be required to respond to complaints, investigate appropriately, issue tickets as required, participate in judicial hearings and court proceedings, and follow law enforcement policies and procedures. Other responsibilities will include administrative tasks such as, but not limited to, the creation and maintenance of records and preparation of associated reports.
