Town of Oxford Transfer Station Schedule
** NEW HOURS REMINDER **
A friendly reminder that the Town of Oxford Transfer Station will be open on Thursday from
11 am to 7 pm each week until September 1, 2022, when it will return to normal hours on Thursdays.
Hours will remain the same for Friday’s 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday’s 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Please note: Should the following holidays fall on any of the above days, the Transfer Station will be CLOSED on that day:
- New Year’s Day
- Good Friday
- Canada Day
- Labour Day
- Remembrance Day
- Christmas Day
- or Boxing Day
WHAT’S ACCEPTED: Recyclables, Scrap Metal, Organics Leaf & Yard Waste Residual Waste.
WHAT’S NOT ACCEPTED: Construction and Demolition Debris - wood, shingles, insulation, building materials, etc. Household Hazardous Waste.
The Town of Oxford mourns the loss of former long-time Mayor

Mayor, Council and Staff of the Town of Oxford would like to give this statement in regards to the recent passing of our former Mayor Lloyd Jenkins.
"The Town of Oxford is mourning the loss of former long-time Mayor Lloyd Jenkins. Lloyd Jenkins, a former Mayor and educator at the Oxford Regional High School, had an incredible impact on our Town. As a Mayor, Mr. Jenkins was a community champion who took great pride in our Town. His passion for serving others will not be forgotten. Mr. Jenkins was first elected to the Oxford Town Council on November 13, 1980, and served our community as Mayor starting November 14, 2000, for 12 years. Our deepest condolences go to Lloyd Jenkins’s family and all those he touched throughout his life.”

Special Council Meeting - July 11, 2022

Oxford Town Council will be hosting a Special Council Meeting on Monday, July 11 at 6 pm to discuss Town Business.
A few topics of discussion will include approval of the Water and 5-year Capital Budgets, Water Review Study, Second Reading of the Deed Transfer Tax and introduction of the Policing Review Committee Members.
