PUBLIC NOTICE: ROAD TRAILS DESIGNATION BY-LAW, BY-LAW No. 06-2026 STATUS - Date: August 7, 2026

The Town of Oxford wishes to inform all residents and visitors that the Road Trails Designation By-law is not currently in effect.

By law, this Act cannot be enforced until it is officially published in the local newspaper.

Key Timeline & Details

Current Status: All standard road and street regulations and the Road Trails Designation By-law, By-law No. 05-2024-2 remain active.

Scheduled Publication: Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in the Chronicle Herald.

Effective Condition: If the notice is successfully printed on this date, the Act will take immediate effect.

The Result: Upon successful publication, all roads and streets within the Town of Oxford boundaries will be officially designated as a Road Trail.

Please exercise patience and refrain from operating unauthorized vehicles on town roads and streets until official publication is confirmed.
