Nominations Open - Elections 2024

Nomination shall be filed at the office of the Returning Officer, Oxford Town Hall, 105 Lower Main Street by appointment between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on nomination day which is Tuesday, September 10, 2024, or by appointment during the office hours in the seven (7) business days preceding nomination day, such days being August 29, August 30, September 3, September 4, September 5, September 6, and September 9, 2024.

Electors in the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial electoral district of Truro, consisting of the Counties of Colchester and Cumberland and the Towns of Truro, Stewiacke, Amherst, and Oxford, will elect one person to be a Member of the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial and a nomination for that office shall be filed by contacting the email address elections@truro.ca or the phone number 902-898-2020 for an appointment between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on nomination day, which is Tuesday, September 10, 2024, or by appointment during office hours in the seven (7) business days preceding nomination days, such days being August 29, August 30, September 3, September 4, September 5, September 6, and September 9, 2024.
