Employment Opportunity - Town Horticulturalist

The Town of Oxford is looking to hire someone as the Horticulturist.
This is expected to be a 9-week summer employment opportunity.
You must be between the ages of 15 – 30 years old at the start of the internship and you do not need to be a student. This is open to all that are attending or not attending school in the Fall.
The successful candidate will receive paid hands-on experience, mentorship opportunities, take part in a professional development conference and training, while supporting local environment projects.
In this position you will be mainly responsible for maintaining the community gardens and teaching the public gardening life skills.
The preferred candidate would have the knowledge in agriculture and the willingness to work along side like minded partners to educate the community the value of food sustainability.
